Super chill#breakfastwithgrandmother - she ate all her jelly (she just eats it with a spoon right out of the jar, lol) - so only biscuit and gravy. But I found her bag of powdered sugar donuts and she had two of those too.

Peaceful #breakfastwithgrandmother - I have started buttering half a biscuit and serving with jelly, the other half with gravy. And I put half a banana beside her plate and she's eating that too. Love to see her with an appetite again.

Really great #breakfastwithgrandmother -she was at the table when I walked in. Ate a biscuit, 1/2 with gravy and 1/2 with jelly and 1/2 a banana. "Who taught you to eat banana for breakfast, Lori?" Well, Gran, YOU did. With Shredded Wheat, skim milk and 3 spoons of sugar. 🤣

@JackAndAHat As the mother of a young adult who is moving back in with me I can absolutely say you never ever open any package without being sure of what is inside. E-receipts for deliveries are very useful. Yes.

Yesterday's #breakfastwithgrandmother was a bit of a miscommunication. Mom thought I was off work and wasn't going. I realized partway into heating the biscuits that we had no jelly?? and that the pills for the day had already been opened. So...

Gran remembered Dad coming by but she didn't remember eating. And since she was waiting patiently for her food, I finished making a bowl of biscuit and gravy and figured I was making it for the next day. NOPE. Gran ATE IT ALL.
