Here is one for the Halloween season. ZOMBIE TAG! Two students start with hula-hoops. They need to drag it with one foot around the gym. If they tag someone they get a hula-hoop. Last person to survive wins! Add obstacles for added fun.
I call this one Oscar. There are students inside the mats throwing the balls out when other students make it in. I challenge students to see how far away they can be.
Love to start the school year out with team building activities. Here they have to work together to get from one side to the other without touching the ground.

Great classroom management trick. Tell class if they can line up quietly and quickly they can get a spray. Thumbs up for spray, thumbs down for not spray.
