Drivermin's hair has turned purple, just like Tommy's. He's the region's only real All Grown Up ref. I can't imagine Tommy being that strong in battle, so he works well here in the early game.

The regional rodent's a little rugRAT! He's Tommy Pickles if he were an egg mouse. His shiny references his pilot art color.

Quailvero is Doug evolved, which of course means Quailman. He looks like he could be a Fighting type, but so did Staraptor, and that didn't happen until its mega. Its Dex entry references how Doug "flew away" to Disney.

Quaintail is, of course, a quail! The "mouth" underneath its beak is just coloration resembling a mouth, like with Bellibolt or Arbok.

Starting off the early route Pokemon is Birdinary, our regional bird! Like the starters, these all will be based on the original 3 nicktoons: Ren & Stimpy, Rugrats, and Doug. Here we have a plain little bird, just like Doug.

Cryptoxic is the final starter! I love how it turned out, mixing elements of both its inspiration and other cryptids like the Loch Ness Monster.

As I said last post, it's based on Herman Melville from Doug's First Movie. Had to do very little to make him look like a Pokemon; just in the proportions. They're actually my favorite of the bunch.

The first starter is based on everyone's favorite Nick kaiju, Reptar! Specifically, Lizzle is the "baby reptar" from the Reptar on Ice episode. And you know I had to make his shiny purple.

With baguette arms and pretzel dough torso, it's a glutenous force for good! He has the chance to burn with a grass move because he's toasted. His shiny references Powdered Toast Man's real colors and moldy bread.

Wheatling's middle stage is a big fat sack of flour, because you have to put on fat to make MUSCLE. He follows in the chubby footsteps of Quilladin and Pignite before him.
