I just don't understand the appeal. I disable YouTube Shorts from appearing whenever possible. All the channels I follow seem to utilize the feature to highlight tiny snippets of their longer content. And at that point I'll just take the longer content.

My least favourite form of media is ultra short form video (10-30 seconds). I know that billions of people watch them but I think it's the worst way to consume information, or even entertainment.
