@WhitGreens Do you have any evidence it is at risk or is this scaremongering? Surely one would expect rural or smaller libraries like Swalecliffe to be first.
We're gearing up for our next public consultation event for the draft Whitstable Harbour Strategic Plan. Join us at the South Quay Shed on Wed 13 Dec, 5pm to 7pm, to find out more about how we propose to manage, maintain and invest in the harbour for the next 10 years and beyond.
A brilliant new project at the South Quay Shed at Whitstable Harbour, which gives young entrepreneurs the opportunity to bring new products to market and learn about running a business in a live retail environment, is now up and running. Full story: https://t.co/XUZwWjsrrh
The fishermen's tree at Whitstable Harbour is once again getting us in the festive mood. Spectacular! Harbour Board Chairman, Cllr Chris Cornell, said: "It brings Christmas joy to the harbour and is a firm favourite with everyone in the town. A big thank you to the fishermen!"
@julesserkin@WhitGreens@canterburycc@retailmentoring You have the right to suggest a change as part of the councils yellow line review but my argument would be that two hours would just further block the high street and see it as a place people park whilst going for a walk - this would actually reduce support for the high street
@julesserkin@WhitGreens@canterburycc@retailmentoring It’s not a plan and if it were it would be a change to yellow lines etc which have extensive consultation and can only be recommended by councillors. I know they havent here. In fact the new parking plan out for consultation actually reduces fees in Tankerton coach park
“It's hard to think of anything that sums up [the Government’s] 13 years of failure more graphically than the tide of raw sewage swilling down our rivers, into our lakes, and washing up on our beaches.” – @SteveReedMP@SOSWhitstable
Shadow Cabinet member for DEFRA @SteveReedMP has sent a letter of support to @SOSWhitstable ahead of the protest this afternoon. We will see you all there!!!
