@eyesonbee Classic ATB was never that great. Either you set it to wait mode and just have a perfectly fine but basic turn-based system, or set it to active and get punished for using anything that's buried in a submenu, disincentivizing engagement with many of the more complex options.
@NightSkyPrince_ Okay but you can toggle the arrows with a single button press, if that went for the paint we wouldn't have these complaints lol.
My take is just make all your levels hallways, FF13 was correct and peak level design. :)
@FrustratedJacob I thought the combat was great fun, but it's not the type of thing that's best served by being stretched out over 50 hours. If, say, Bayonetta was that length, I think I'd have largely the same complaints.
@KarlGerm @Cloud7470 I remember FFVII also had that. If I'd just read that the first time I played it, I wouldn't have gotten stuck on Guard Scorpion because I kept attacking while the tail was up!
I really enjoyed that race I did last week, so actually properly learned the speedrun for Rayman 3 (now officially my 16th favorite game lol)
