@USronaldcarter@BorenShay Good- except the default should be that parents need to OPT IN if they want kids exposed to this. The default should be no exposure.
As disciples of Jesus Christ, we are all united in faith and in our commitment to living the gospel. But unity does not mean uniformity. Our church congregations are like a beautiful mosaic—rich with diverse backgrounds, talents, and experiences.
I invite each of you to find and recognize your gifts so that you can use them to bless others and move the Lord’s work forward.
Children in my church—The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints—know this song, “I Will Walk With Jesus”
Pay attention to the words
If this isn’t emblematic of Christian faith, I don’t know what is
President Holland put it perfectly.
“Any criticism that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints does not hold the contemporary Christian view of God, Jesus, and the Holy Ghost is not a comment about our commitment to Christ but rather a recognition (accurate, I might add) that our view of the Godhead breaks with post–New Testament Christian history and returns to the doctrine taught by Jesus Himself.”

On Saturday, June 6, 2026, groundbreaking ceremonies took place for the Springfield Missouri and Missoula Montana Temples of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
“There are pictures of Christ in the temple to remind us of Him and why we choose to live the gospel,” Isabelle Duncan, a youth from the Missoula Montana Stake, said.

In 2016, I had the sacred privilege of organizing the first stake in Prague, Czech Republic. You can imagine the joy I felt returning 10 years later to dedicate a beautiful new stake center in this same stake. Being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in this region has not always been easy. Yet through unwavering devotion and trust in the Lord, the faith of members of the Church has endured. As we look back with gratitude for those who came before, we can move forward with hope and confidence in the future. This new meetinghouse symbolizes the faith of members old and new and will be a blessing for all who come and see.
Wade, sorry you’ve been misinformed. I hope you will give the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints a second look. We do believe, and rejoice in, the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Our very salvation hinges on the selfless act of His infinite yet personal atonement for us. https://t.co/dHMwnRk3fc
Mark 9:38-40 - 38 ¶ And John answered him, saying, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name, and he followeth not us: and we forbad him, because he followeth not us.
39 But Jesus said, Forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a miracle in my name, that can lightly speak evil of me.
40 For he that is not against us is on our part.
Matthew 7-16-Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
Anyone in favor of excluding the LDS from the "Christian" grouping must also justify why Jehovah Witnesses and Christian Scientists are included in the same.
I am a strict Calvinist and Presbyterian all the way -- but where the LDS is concerned, Mark 9:38-40 and Matthew 7:16 do a lot of heavy lifting here, and my own house (specifically, PCUSA) needs a lot of cleaning.
All who live or ever have lived who come unto Christ and live His gospel will feel joy beyond any earthly expression as we reunite, resurrected, with our Father in Heaven and Jesus Christ and with our parents, grandparents, siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, and ancestors.
While we celebrate 250 years of a country founded by pilgrims who wanted to worship freely 🇺🇸, Canada bans the Holy Bible. Quite a contrast. Grateful to be here in the U.S.A. Say a prayer for Canada. 🇨🇦 🙏
🚨JUST IN: Canada just criminalized the Bible. Bill C-9 has passed the Senate, removing key religious protections and opening the door for Scripture to be treated as “hate speech.”
Quoting the Bible on marriage, sin, or God’s design for sexuality can now lead to prosecution for “willful promotion of hatred.”
This is a direct attack on Christianity and religious freedom in Canada.
Brothers and sisters — the time to stand is now.
Pray for Canada. Speak the truth boldly. Defend the Gospel while we still can.
@BlackLabelAdvsr@BasedMikeLee What an awesome name - Jon Elder. I invite you to prayerfully read the Book of Mormon and see for yourself how it and the Bible reconcile each other and that the Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ.
Utah is a STATE! That boundary means something. We need a US Congressman who will insist that state legislators exercise their full and rightful state jurisdiction, not make backroom deals to give control to technocrats and oligarchs who are always scheming on how to get it.
