@CounselorKels No school counselor should be doing scheduling in 2020. There are so many software packages for it. It is an administrator/teacher duty not ours not ever not never. Our role as school counselors is the advising/counseling/planning part NOT making up the schedule or data input.

You've got to learn how to think right before you can live right. God has a good plan for your life, but if you don't believe it, God's not going to be able to do it! #JoyceQuote #ThinkRight

The first way to stop wasting your time is to stop getting angry about things you can't do anything about. Don't let the devil steal your peace. Keep your peace so you can keep your power! #JoyceQuote #KeepYourPeace

Senate is debating SB 3 which will be amended to add librarians but not #schoolcounselors! School Counselors are classroom teachers too! This is the justification for adding librarians. Call you State Senator NOW and ask them to add School Counselors! https://t.co/VjQR8b35mM

Counselors do so much for the students AND staff in the building. They are patient, kind, poised, and compassionate. They shoulder more grief, pain, and dysfunction than most of us can imagine, and they are invaluable to our schools. They deserve our recognition and respect.
