In the Anglo-Saxon and early medieval period, magic was woven into everyday life. Folks sold charms, healing spells, and love potions, and helped locate lost property or thieves. The early Church tolerated much of this while formally condemning “heathen” practices, and early law codes issued penalties against harmful sorcery.

Even astrology, alchemy, and ritual “necromancy” were studied by clergy and scholars. This produced famous figures like the Elizabethan mathematician John Dee, who served as astrologer to Elizabeth the 1st while also attempting to communicate with angels.

Witchcraft later became a statutory felony under Henry VIII’s Act of 1542, then more durably under Elizabeth the 1st and James the first. James was personally invested, having written Daemonologie.

It wasn't until the 1600s that witch trials peaked and torture and executions became the order of the day. Some argued that this was meant to make witchcraft elitist and yank it away from the hands of commoners. Na so.

Even today, England is the home and HQ of most Masonic Lodges (if you've read about the masons, you'll know this) and other deep cults you probably haven't heard about. You don't know good or evil more than the white man so don't assume to think you know the extent they've gone with witchcraft.

I went into a rabbit hole on Reddit a few years ago and what I read made me understand that we are in the primary school of witchcraft. You're upcoming. And that's precisely why you were colonised, not for the reason you imply.

One of the reasons I share almost everything we're doing in the South East is simple:

I want you to copy it.

If a strategy gets more children learning, gets more students excited about STEM, raises academic standards, or inspires excellence, don't admire it from afar or criticize Alex. Replicate it in your region. Improve it. Scale it.

Africa has spent too much time protecting ideas instead of spreading what works.

I don't want the South East to be the exception. I want it to become the template for Africa civilization.

Imagine every region in Nigeria building its own Olympiads, ranking schools, training teachers, identifying talent, and making education a public movement.

Imagine every African country adapting the same ideas to fit their own realities.

That's how continents change.

Education is Africa's greatest opportunity. If something works, copy it.

Working with American companies will teach you that in a world of extreme competition, American companies are relatively the most ethical.

For instance, people complain about WhatsApp adding a "this message has been deleted" label to deleted messages, but don't understand the far reaching consequences of not having proof of retracted message in the first place, for legal and privacy reasons.

I feel like most people that complain about American Capitalism haven't met Chinese takeovers where nothing literally matters. It's easy to jostle for "full control" until it's utilised against you.
