Here’s a lil story on how my duties of being my parents oldest daughter and 1st born child now includes making sure my dad actually goes to his dr appts and tells the dr what’s going on. I went with my dad to his appt yesterday to a specialist- a cardiac electrophysiologist

When we got back to my dad’s truck he gonna say “I really like that dr but you know I wouldn’t have scheduled that if you weren’t here, right?” Yea, daddy, I know.

So, my dad’s heart procedure is July 3rd at 6am. Prayers are welcomed and appreciated 🥲

The dr looks at my dad and says “well Mr. Grant, looks like we’re gonna go ahead and get this scheduled but in the meantime here’s my cell number. I need you to text me immediately if something happens or changes before then”.
