@DoctorJohn_MD Why can insurance just straight up say no? And we were told you can try to do a prior auth but it's useless. Why can't our patients just get the things they need that a DOCTOR WHO IS MEDICALLY TRAINED wants them to have?! (I'm just a receptionist but it still irks me)

@DoctorJohn_MD A pharmacy called me to be like "Uh, this patient's insurance refuses to cover the patient's continuous glucose monitor. They want them to use a glucose meter with test strips instead." And it really fricken pissed me off.
