The healthcare system doesn’t make matters any better.
So before it gets to the stage of needing the Nigerian healthcare system, please do well to take care of yourself.
I know death is inevitable, but I also know there are things we can do to delay it.
Life expectancy in Nigeria is low because, quite frankly, many Nigerians aren’t healthy. Sedentary lifestyles, heavy carbohydrate diets, and poor health literacy all play a huge role.
I have seen the obituaries of quite a number of people (Nigerians) lately, and while I commiserate, I can’t help but look at the age they died and feel even more saddened because there was still so much life left in them.
Many of them were between 55 and 65.
This is really sad!
If women can be breadwinners and still make time for all their children's activities / child care and domestic labour , does it mean that the former breadwinners have been using breadwinning as a form of weaponized incompetence??
