@HAHayatu BVN seem to be platform to give a more accurate number, however you are underestimating the number of unbanked people in Nigeria (include young children who cannot register a BVN)
We need a law that bars Governors from returning to the National Assembly. Let them return to where they came from.
Dapo Abiodun was a successful businessman my all standard. He should return there.
Gbenga Daniel was a successful engineer. He should return to his business.
Ibikunle Amosun & Co is a reputable accounting firm. Ajiri Omo Oye should return to auditing and accounting.
Why must Hope Uzodinma return to the Senate? What does Yahaya Bello do for a living that he can return to?
The Senate should not be a retirement home for useless and incompetent politicians.
We’re in court and a party is claiming his WhatsApp conversations with the other party constitute Founders’ agreement. 🙃
If you don’t pay corporate lawyer to protect you, you’ll pay litigation lawyer to savage the situation.
You’ll pay lawyer.
Last night I decided to buy every single item on this receipt from 2020. To find out how bad things really are .
Total price in 2020 - N25,225
Total price in 2026 - N147,050
A whopping 582% increase in price . If your salary in 2020 has not increased by x6 you are poorer 😭
Lawyers refused to vote for the man who
gave them back to back high-end digital legal education without taking a dime from them—for flimsy discretional Nigerian-esque political talking points. Real tangible antecedents but they said it was ‘high moral ground’ something something.
Some people don't use their head to think. How will you pay in fine for one way traffic offense? And now see the consequences. Damaged to the car alone might be more than the fine.
Maybe you know but let me remind you:
1. Knowing that someone is a fraudster and not reporting them to the authority may make you liable, especially if you benefit from the proceeds of frauds.
2. Spending part or whole of the money sent erroneously or mistakenly sent to your account can earn you jail term of 2years.
3. Defamation is both a tort and a crime. If you repost or retweet a defamatory post or material, you can/may be liable to the same extent as the original author.
4. “I did not mention your name” is not a defence to defamation. If it can be reasonably imputed that the person has been defamed, you can still be liable for defamation either in tort or as a crime.
5. “She looks 18” or “she told me she is an adult” is not a defence to the offence of rape or defilement of a girl” so to avoid life imprisonment, always be certain about the age of a girl before you have sexual intercourse with her.
6. If a President, Vice President, Governor or Deputy Governor commits a crime while in office, they cannot be charged for the crime until their term of office expires or they are constitutionally out of office.
7. You cannot buy property as “Mr and Mrs Alinko” if you want to buy a property as couples, always spell out your full names like “ Mr Alinko Fajojo and Mrs Karimot Alinko”
8. A next of kin is not automatically entitled to benefit from a will or estate of a deceased person. A next of kin is only useful for alternative contact purposes.
9. If a Muslim or traditional man or woman contracts a statutory marriage, even if they writes a will or die intestate, the distribution of their properties after their death will still be subject to the applicable Islamic personal law or customary law on inheritance or succession.
10. A lawyer does not or cannot retire from being a lawyer, as long as your name appears on the roll of the Supreme Court, you perpetually remain a lawyer till you die. A judge who retires from the bench/being a judge can return to practicing law, but cannot appear as a legal practitioner before any court in Nigeria.
See you in 2026 👍
