Helping #multipassionate ambitious #dreamers manage their stress and #burnout so that they can manifest their dreams without their own self holding them back.
3 years ago, I would've punched them!
We have all heard the generic advice of "#StayCalm" and "#DontStress"!
Unfortunately, while this can be sound advice, we tend to hate it because no one ever tells us how!
Here's your chance to expand your #stressmanagement toolkit!
@garyvee, I am reaching my 100th episode for my podcast and I would love to have you as a guest on it, for 15 minutes, so that you can advice (quick fire round style) to the next generation of change makers!
Let's make it happen?
@theChrisDo That is there, and often out of our control. It all boils down to perspective I believe. And how true our truth is to influence others perspectives. But after a point it is best to allow the truth to resonate with those who are ready to listen.
@theChrisDo Hmmm, I like the concept behind this statement, but I have to add, just because you are saying something doesn't mean that people will disagree. Maybe it can be a reminder maybe it can be a truth that needs to be shared, without warranting hate of others.
@theChrisDo I love this tweet as there is a lot of power in delivering what people want and see the impact it creates. It makes a lot more sense to do that as opposed to shooting in the dark and hoping people get value from it. Market research and check ins with focus groups and community!
A good tip to manage stress is do things ahead of time for yourself. Have to do your dishes but feel kike it can be done tomorrow?
Nah, get them done now if you can so that it can be a small gift for your future self.
Just be aware that you are not pushing yourself too hard!
A cool hack to manage stress is to pre-plan ahead of time. It doesn't necessarily need to be planned entirely, but having a basic structure can help you feel better when it is time to act, as opposed to feeling overwhelmed with a lot of information and no place to start!
You find the knot.
But did you know this?
Often times, the best say to overcome stress which is structure focused, is to tap into freedom.
Love freely, explore arts freely, move freely, etc.
This will help you, almost instantly! Can anyone in the comments tell me why?
Stress is very structured in that it often occurs in patterns and is deeply tied to memories.
You once had an accident while driving a bike? You experience stress the moment you come near a bike.
You failed a test? Stressed the next time you write a test.
You pull the thread
