The misogynoir in this debacle is overarching & disgusting but not surprising. Unless a confident Black woman lowers herself someone, Black or white will find fault. If you exist in your fullness w/o making others more secure in their inaptitudes you will always be the villain.

Misogynoir is so prevalent but it cuts deep when it comes from other Black folks. Ill nvr forget being told that “as a Black woman w/ locs you have that look, you have to smile more” by a Black female superior. “The look” she was referring to was my sheer existence.
