A3: I try to make them feel successful. Who wants to come to school (or work for that matter) if you don't feel some success? I also try hard to listen to them and try to understand where they are coming from even if I don't agree with them. #NMSchat

A2: You really have to know your students to know what will cause them to be engaged. I think this is easier later in the year because I know my students better. In the beginning of the year, it can be a bit of a struggle at times. #NMSchat
