@carlos_b_dyce@d_suelo This is a very untrue statement I met a 17 year old who said she no longer listens to Drake because Kendrick Lamar said he was a pedophile
🚨 Drake's Amazon Warehouse has officially dropped new ICEMAN, Habibti, and Maid of Honour merchandise.
One of the most interesting pieces features the message:
💬 "I am the karma. I am the exception. I am The Boy. I am the lesson. I am not the forgiveness. I am the blessing."
🧐 The wording feels intentional and almost reads like a statement about how Drake views his current position.
"I am the karma" could be interpreted as Drake suggesting that people are now facing the consequences of their actions.
"I am the exception" speaks to his ability to succeed despite industry expectations, criticism, and attempts to count him out.
"I am The Boy" reinforces the nickname and brand he's built throughout his career.
"I am the lesson" could imply that his journey serves as an example to others in the industry.
As well as a warning to messing with him you’ll learn a lesson 👀
And perhaps the most striking line:
💬 "I am not the forgiveness. I am the blessing."
A message that seems to suggest Drake isn't focused on letting things slide he's focused on recognizing his own value and success.
Whether it's tied to the ICEMAN era or not, this is definitely one of the more cryptic messages we've seen attached to Drake merch recently. 👀
@Iambecause2016@MC_60sGang Everyone is allowed to understand just as well as the courts.
That’s the entire point of all of the documents and records being released to the public 🤣
Just because you’re too stupid to understand doesn’t make any difference 🤣
Called Drake a colonizer & tried to turn folks against him and the universe had to intervene and humble him, now his camp is threatening to finger each other. 💀✌️
Kendrick Lamar paid 8 artists 60K to make a Grammy Award winning platinum album! Young Threat in jail for murder, Dody6 a JUNKIE, TwiiterJ3 desperate and cooked! Crookdrick needs to pay these bums more than 10k! West Coast Savior 😂 Salute to @Poetikflakko
🎵TRACK BREAKDOWN: DRAKE’S “NATIONAL TREASURE”
One thing that really stood out to me on Drake’s “National Treasure” is the sample choice. 👀
Drake sampled Gregory Hines’ “This Is What I Believe”
Meanwhile, Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” sampled Ray Charles’ “I Believe to My Soul.” 🎶
To me, that doesn’t feel like a coincidence. 🤔
It’s almost like Drake is responding to the message behind Not Like Us by saying:
🗣️ “Forget what YOU believe… THIS is what I believe.”
Kendrick’s record was built around accusations, public perception, and getting people to question Drake’s character.
Then Drake comes back with a record sampling “This Is What I Believe” as if he’s rejecting the narrative completely. 💯
📌 The way I interpret it:
🎯 Kendrick: “This is what people believe about you.”
🎯 Drake: “Cool… but THIS is what I believe about myself.”
And what Drake appears to be saying is that despite the controversy, the criticism, and the attacks, he still sees himself as a cultural icon, a generational artist, and a National Treasure. 🏆🇨🇦
Whether it was intentional or not, the sample choice feels like a subtle chess move ♟️a response to Not Like Us without directly responding to *Not Like U
Boi1da says ICEMAN is a cla$$ic.
“I’m proud of him, man. You know, that last two years of the weird smear campaign they tried to do with him, for him to just, like, rise out of the ashes like a phoenix.”
