This weekend marks a holy trifecta for the Abrahmic faiths.
Happy Ramadan, Happy Easter, and Happy Passover.
May we all work together for a world based in peace and renewal. ❤️❤️❤️
This whole "the NYT ruined Wordle!" thing is a great case study in confirmation bias. It also gives us some insight into human nature that helps explain how conspiracy theories work.
It happened.
I said testicles instead of tentacles.
Still can’t decide if it was better or worse that it was a class of seniors and not a class of freshman.
"People are uncomfortable with being uncomfortable... (But) it's everyone's responsibility to educate themselves... It's a conversation that needs to be had. You can make it your personal goal to bring this conversation forward in the rest of your life." - @kyliedanielleee
@nkucoe "They (those pushing anti-#CRT legislation) don't want their kids to come home with questions they can't answer." - @nkucoe student Brooklyn Wilson
#CriticalRaceTheory has long been a scholarly pursuit, a theoretical framework that gives us the tools to look at, talk about, and critique society... #CRT does not teach that white people are bad." - @DrDavidChilds of @nkucoe as tonight's #CourageousConversation panel
begins.

Got an email from someone in the treasurers office who noticed I bought a mitre saw. In order, the questions asked were-
1) Did I know saws were equipment?
2) Where is it stored? It’s a dangerous piece of machinery.
3) Did I ask the maintenance department first?
Went all-the-way-in to a full-person-restaurant and left my car exactly like this the entire time I was inside.
My deepest condolences to my colleague who hates when I let students pick up my copies, but I did indeed live, as there wasn’t a serial killer in the back seat.
I have questions.
Am I inspirational for being a woman who does math
Or
A woman who teaches in a workroom
OR
A woman who uses math IN the workroom
????

Someone looked at my students’ hand drafts today and commented how good they looked. Then-
ME: (sarcastic) Stagecraft students are thrilled when they realize construction requires some trigonometry.
REAL ADULT: Wow, that’s so inspiring for them, that you’re a woman doing that!
