A5: A district close to my hometown recently moved HS start time back to 9am based off research that teens need more sleep. I feel this is a Ss centered decision and I applaud them for it. How they coordinated that with the town, I have no idea #gfedchat

A4a: As a staff member and a specialist, I do feel safe. I know what to do in the event of an emergency. However, I have had Ss express differently to me this year because of different situations. I think if I were a Ss today I would be nervous. #gfedchat

A3: Oooooo... good question. An effective way in a short period of time to measure a large number students' abilities - yes. The BEST way to measure students' abilities? No. There are better ways we can and should do this #gfedchat

A2: Homework just for homework's sake? No, that is not needed. Homework to practice a difficult skill learned or finish a project? That I can understand. Our homework should have meaning. It should be helping to meet a goal. Not just be busy work. #gfedchat
