I wish I had enough memory on my phone to capture ALL of the learning that I see happening everyday! Who said you can’t integrate art into the classroom learning? Who said you can’t work collaboratively to complete a science experiment? We didn’t!! Love to see it! #ShiningStars
Our word wall is growing! Anytime we come across a word that the class doesn’t know we write it down, define it and stick it on the word wall. I’ve got some brilliant minds in my room this year. @WallerMillES #YCSD
I can’t say goodbye, so here’s my see you later. Lindsey, you’ve been a great friend, teammate, and teacher in so many ways to so many people. I’m so glad I had you to make the memories with. Who is going to take pictures for Twitter with me now?! We love ya #longliveteam5flex
Another successful school year in the books! There's so many things I want to say about this wonderful school, but for now I'll wish everyone an amazing summer break! 💜⭐
WMES fifth graders got outside and moving to practice decimal operations today! Thanks to @YFPEinc for the grant that made these whiteboards and our outside math possible today! #YCSD @WallerMillES @mslarimer
I am so grateful to have an amazing team at WMES who helped to write this grant as well as the @YFPEinc for supporting our leaners. #ycsd#springinnovativegrant
Got to see an amazing performance this afternoon. Great work to all of the students and staff at SOA who put on the show. It’s amazing to see the future opportunities my 5th graders could have just down the road from WMES. #brutonzone#ycsd#RockofAges

Tonight, it was our honor to share about one of our amazing school-wide programs, S.T.A.R. Buddies! Three of my 5th grade Shining Stars led the presentation and I couldn't be more proud of them! 💜💛
We were creating lunch box alarms to explore opened and closed circuits when one group made a connection to the generator in our read aloud book. I love seeing the out of the box ways these shining stars are connecting concepts! @WallerMillES @YCSD#STEM
