This week I had my classes complete letters to the teacher. They wrote suggestions for future students in my class, suggestions for the teacher, things they will miss and things they enjoyed, I then placed them in binder to remember #teacherlife #firstyearteacher

Our beans had started to sprout in their ziploc bags and paper towels so the students got to plant them this week. Great way to end our soil unit. #soilunit #grade3 #scienceteacher

The grade 3 science classes ended their soil unit with these bean seeds. They will be in our class windows until they start to sprout and then be transferred into pots for each student to bring home. #soilunit #grade3

The Grade 5 science classes have been learning about structures. Today they were given newspaper and tape and asked to make any structure. We had several CN Towers and rockets. Here are just a few that the students created #scienceteacher #structuresunit

The last 3 days students from primary to senior that are finishing up their final few weeks in teachers college got to network and meet professors, board members and other cohorts and collaborate in a variety of sessions #teacherlife #networking
