A colleague gets full credit for telling me about it end of last school year, but we signed up to adopt a calf for our class this year! So excited for my kindergarteners to learn about cows and how farms work, etc. with Kate and her farmers/care takers! 🐮❤️#kindergarten

My heart melted into a puddle today. When a student had been getting frustrated with what they could tell they didn’t know compared to their classmates, hearing them say “Look Ms. Drysdale I did it!” In the most proud voice I’ve ever heard, is the best feeling 💜

Why yes, my kindergarten teacher self did get a dress with sight words on it. And yes, my kids were pointing at letters and words throughout the day!

So excited for my newest students all saying how excited they are about kindergarten! These little owls just went on a school tour and checked off where we visited, met some of our new teachers, and were so excited about writing our names! #WeAreFeatherbedLane #kindergarten

My kg Ss earned about 60 checks on these cards by modeling many safe, kind, and helpful behaviors and earned a prize for it. After pi day, many wanted to pie me in the face so I told them if they get all of these checks all over again they can pie me. We’ll see what happens! 😂

For ‘wear a number’ day, this Capitals fan found another fan (our amazing library media specialist!)…but also found our amazing school nurse wearing…a NJ devils jersey (team rivals, nothi bc personal) 😒😃😂 love my awesome colleagues!

@adamdovico Guaranteeing more assistants w better pay and regular benefit options for them. It’s hard for any school I’ve ever worked at having enough support staff based on our numbers but not necessarily the kids’ and/or staff needs
