Love using the @MikvaChallenge material in my classroom. Students read quotes and reflected on how social identity impacts the way they view democracy.
BREAKING: The College Board has updated the rubrics for AP History courses. In DBQs, students only need to cite 4 documents instead of 6 and source 2 documents instead of 3. To read the full set of changes, see the 2023 CED for your course and go to the "AP History Rubrics" section.
First day of school…again. Students worked on communication skills by helping their blindfolded group member put together a puzzle without doing it for them. #middleschool#FirstDayOfSchool
My 11th grade class had the opportunity to use an old voting machine today to vote! Excited to find out who the first 11th grade US History president will be! 🇺🇸
Thank you Florida House of Representative Spencer Roach for speaking to my 11th grade US History class today! They are excited and ready to start their election campaigns. @BabcockSchool
We ran out of handouts at #ncss22 but thankfully @flipping_A_tchr shared his file. Here are all of his and our resources on making podcasts in the classroom: https://t.co/5zzI37uyjX

NCSS conference day one! I have talked to so many great people and cannot wait to take all these resources home and try them in my classroom! Can’t wait for day two! @NCSSNetwork
Hurricane Ian may have us out of school, but luckily I was still able to attend the @CambridgeInt training in Boca Raton, FL. Cant wait to take what I’ve learned from day one and apply it in my classroom! @BabcockSchool
Today, we remember the innocent lives lost and the brave first responders who made the ultimate sacrifice to save others. We vow to never forget #September11.
