Our AVID 8th graders participated in the Pens of Destiny activity! They were challenged to stand in a circle and compete in obstacles with pens only connected by their index fingers. It was hysterical! #AVID #Relationalcapacity

Our AVID program had the opportunity to attend the University of Maryland Basketball Game for their national field trip day!! We had so much fun rooting for the UMD Terrapins! #AVID4college #AVIDadventures

Our 7th grade & some 8th grade AVID students went to the National Cryptologic Museum today! We competed in a scavenger hunt learning about all the fascinating people, machines, and devices that protected our country's National Security! We also had 2 NSA guest speakers. #AVID
