In a nod to National Poetry Day tomorrow, we had the pleasure of welcoming the brilliant ADISA THE VERBALIZER to deliver several workshops. His ability to create an engaging and fun learning atmosphere, filled with energy and humour, left a lasting impression on the students.

Brilliant day at @HfLSecondaryEng conference yesterday: lots to think about and plan for the busy months ahead! Always grateful to be able to meet other English CLs as a newbie!
Hello! Is anybody able to help me connect with other English teachers who deliver the Pearson Edexcel English Lit & Lang (comb.) A Level? Looking ahead to our curriculum design for next year and hoping to bounce ideas off someone! @Team_English1@EngChatUK@PearsonEdexcel
Our Year 11 Scholarship students are enjoying a day at Somerville College with taster lectures, guided tours and even a tour of the Natural History Museum.
Well done to the students in Y11 who organised a tins collection across the school, to be donated to Kingston's #foodbank network, supported by @TrussellTrust - thank you for the donations from across the school and thank you to the food banks who help so many.
Well that is the first assembly content sorted! Well done Lionesses! Fab quote from one of the commentators I overheard (probably not word verbatim!): “they didn’t achieve success because of the system; they achieved success in despite of it” #Lionesses
Well done to Year 10 for exemplary conduct in their core A2 assessments; the first experience of exam conditions for all pupils. We keep our standards high! Ms Barnard is so proud!
So proud of the conduct and behaviour of my Year 10s during their first exam hall experience; prepared, mature, responsive. High standards set and will continue. Roll on tomorrow! #edutwitter#pastoralcare
Love the feeling after a taught doctorate session, where you go in without a clue and come out with a direction! I am going to miss this comradeship when we go into independent research projects #AcademicTwitter#EdD
