Will this make it easier or harder for a British family to...

Buy a home?
Get married?
Have children?
Find work?
Keep more of what they earn?
Build wealth?
Create a successful business.
Save money?
Access affordable energy?
Confidently raise a family?
Leave something to their own children?
Control the national debt those children will inherit?
Feel safe in their community?

If the answer is 'harder' to any of those things?

It will not happen.

But we will not stop there.

Every existing Act of Parliament, regulation, tax, quango and major government policy will be subject to exactly the same robust test.

If a law makes it harder for ordinary British families to buy a home, start a business, raise children, build wealth or leave a better future to the next generation, it has no place on the statute book.

Restore Britain will amend it, or more likely - repeal it.

Westminster has measured success by GDP figures, spending announcements and the number of new laws passed. Enough. That has not served British men and women.

Restore Britain will judge success by one question alone:

Will this help British families build a better life?

If the answer is no…

It goes.

Reform will make aiding and abetting illegal entry into the UK a criminal offence, regardless of intent.

We will call this “The Polanski Law”

It’s not just people smugglers facilitating illegal entry into Britain - charities in the UK such as Care4Calais brazenly provide services for people breaking immigration law.

Zack Polanski visited ‘charities’ in Calais in last year and called for more illegal small boat migrants to be allowed into the UK.

We will close this loophole in the current law by making it a ‘strict liability offence’ (intent will not need to be proven) for people to perform any act that assists or encourages illegal entry, punishable by up to 2 years in jail.

This will stop the Labour, Tory and Green Party endorsed charity industrial complex from facilitating large scale illegal entry under the false premise of charitable action.
