3rd graders modeled arrays today as we reviewed for our test on Multiplication. They used licorice & cookie crisp cereal to make their rows and columns and then wrote an equation and solved it. They are going to rock this test! #ahschools#ramseyeaglepride
3rd graders in 3LE did some last minute MCA prep work by working in teams to solve 6 diff. tasks to complete an ELA Baseball themed Escape Room! Ss were engaged, practiced ELA skills, and collaborated and communicated to solve the brainteasers. #AHSchools#RamseyEaglePride
Last week in math, Ss in 3LE used the LIM Habit: Synergize as they worked together to create picture graphs of our favorite ice cream flavors. Each S had a role: cut, glue, or draw/write. It was so fun to see their teamwork! #AHSchools#RamseyEaglePride#TheMathLearningCenter

To continue our ABC Countdown to Summer, today was the letter K: Kindness Day. Ss wrote kind words on post-its, took a walk around the school, & stuck some positivity on the walls. Ss felt so good knowing they are making someone else π #ramseyeaglepride#AHSchools#RAK
Ss in 3LE worked hard to create a rectangle with an area of 100 where all 4 sides were the same length. They tried all sorts of combos and landed on 10x10. Lots of great discussions and collaborations! #3rdgrademathematicians#RamseyEaglePride#AHSchools
This week students in 3LE worked in teams to create a multiplication or division word problem and then went around and solved the other problems their classmates made. We are getting so much better with division! #AHSchools#RamseyEaglePride
Today is Random Acts of Kindness Day, so I challenged my 3rd graders to do at least one RAK in our class, school, home, or community. 1 idea was to leave a positive note on someoneβs desk. Somehow these 2 ended up on my desk! π #AHSchools#RamseyEaglePride
