It is angering, and embarrassing, that since Michael Brown's murder 9 years ago today in Ferguson, police killings have increased. That all of the consent decrees and diversity and task forces and books and careers and tears that have made rounds, police kill more people now

It is a scandal that the NYPD Commissioner wanted to punish a high-ranking cop for corruptly voiding the arrest of a fellow officer, was told she could not do this by the Mayor, and then resigned or was pushed out over it. That is corruption of the highest order.
