It's probably kind of like watching sports, too.
Sure, I can play badminton myself, but why do it on my own even though I know fully well I won't be good or even will be terrible at it when I can just watch and/or root for other people who are better at it than me?
Sometimes it's just preferences. Even if I had the console to play/money to buy the game, I still would not play horror games like Silent Hill F or Resident Evil games. So I watch the let's plays because I want to see what the games are like 🙄
Running the “too woke nowadays for my old famous thing to succeed” gimmick for the show that started the trend of calling shit a “smol bean” on YouTube compilations
If you ever hear someone use the word “nuanced” to describe one of their friends being outed as a sex pest then that’s essentially a confirmation that they knew about it all along and never said anything
like Max and Nick didn't know about werewolves, which is why I think they had no chance to try to fight whatever it was doing to their brain. meanwhile, if Dylan gets bit, at that point he already knows about it and that's why he knows when he should try to fight/hold it in.
I don't get why some people say that Nick from The Quarry is secretly abusive/a creep because they think that the things he said to Abigail before he turned are supposed to reveal the kind of person he truly was.
the game isn't even subtle at showing you these. some people really say that Nick is secretly a creep because Dylan doesn't act like that to Kaitlyn before he turns, like... I think that's probably because both Max and Nick didn't know about the werewolf thing when they get bit.
I saw someone who called 2026 world cup song as "country Imagine Dragons"...
??? excuse you? At least Imagine Dragons had a song like this.

Consequence doesn't always equate to Punishment. wanting characters to face 'consequences' literally just means wanting their actions to hold weight. Its just that most ppl don't know how to articulate discomfort when that lack of weight occurs so they speak in terms of morality.

(cont) at the beginning of the movie is just weird. is that not the point of following her character growth throughout the movie? like what are you even doing if you don't think she ever did anything wrong/had flaws? 🙃
I think it's weird when people don't want to acknowledge that Elle Woods before her character development was not so great. she was a spoiled rich person who randomly decided to transfer to a school like Harvard just for an ex. from Vivian's perspective, Elle was the bad (cont)
some kind of "ha, take that, you jerk!" moment from Vivian's perspective.
like I just don't get why it's a bad thing to admit that Elle did have some flaws and that's why she got her character development later. insisting that there was nothing wrong with her (cont)
