On Thursday, I had the great pleasure of teaching my last lesson as well as my last day at @DrakesCreekMS. This lesson was on Ibn Butatta and it dove my students into the world of salt being worth the same as gold and why. I will miss these students and this school immensely 💕

This was our last day as a gator :( Thank you @DrakesCreekMS for allowing me to come and learn to be a teacher! I had an amazing time at this school and can't wait to see where I'll be headed next on this journey!

I submitted my application to become an emergency substitute teacher here in Warren Co.! I've gotten my email back and am in the process of becoming a Sub! I am also getting all the necessary tests done (just passed my Praxis Core!) and am beginning to practice for the PLT!

Diversity is such an important aspect of education! When learning to become a teacher this is one of the main topics we learn how to teach within a classroom. Learning about the different cultures and aspects that go along with diversity is an important part of education

Learning about the Bubonic Plague in Mrs. Mahowald's Social Studies class this week! This week, my students learned how rats helped with the spread of the Black Plague by creating stories of how their rats traveled across Central Asia and Europe @Drakescreek
