@pinkskynite The DL learning that was provided from April to June was essentially a day of classroom spread out over a week at home. When we went back in session in June it was extremely stressful to manage both in school and online. This cannot be replicated by just streaming the classroom

In Pumping Iron, Schwarzenegger explained he would figure out what to work out every day by looking in a mirror and finding his weakest muscles. It’s pretty good advice for studying during residency. Every shift reveals a weakness, and greats never stop looking for their own.

I think I would like to try this. By using Google Docs it has been great supporting Ss writing as they are writing, but I wonder how my Ss (esp my low readers) would appreciate video feedback to their writing?

@debreese @amightygirl I remember reading Island of the Blue Dolphins when I was younger and really enjoying a strong female lead. I understand the book is written from a white man's perspective. Do you think it should be removed from classroom libraries or just from Indigenous Lit Lists?

Well articulated! I have not seen Thanksgiving reenactments like this locally, but this is food for thought for any reenactments of historical events or purchasing of material about those events!
