At the beginning of the school year,
I was scared.
Anxious.
Uneasy.
At the end of the school year, I am feeling
Accomplished and
Proud of my students.
Taught during a pandemic and we made it!!
Well, the 2020-2021 school year comes to an end! First year at @Austin_Broncos and I couldn't have asked for a better place to come to everyday.
My students and coworkers made this year AMAZING despite teaching through a pandemic.
I am so thankful.
These ladies joined AMS with big smiles & huge hearts. They have worked hard & embraced every challenge the year. I’ve learned more from them than I could possible have offered. Proud to have worked side-by-side with these bright minds. #YouMatter@MsFergusonELAR@AMS_HopeLee
Did a check in form with my students today. How are they? Anything they'd like to tell me?
Most responses were silly, but that ONE student...
That one student needed a teacher to know what today was.
Today marked a year since his mom passed.
Ask students how they are doing.
Feeling extra special this week!! Thank you to @abrownelar and @CBeas_tweets for the sweet tweets today! Breakfast, a massage during my lunch, and sweet notes from my kids-- it's been a good day :) @Austin_Broncos
The ONLY time my students will be able to throw paper balls across the room is when they're playing THINK & THROW! Thanks @lead4ward for these think up activities! #AustinBroncos
Today we got to celebrate Sara with donuts, sparkling grape juice, and some sweet company! She's going to be a MARRIED WOMAN this weekend!! #WeAreTheChampions#AustinBroncos
One thing I love about being a teacher is the relationships you build inside and outside the classroom! This student (who is not mine) always drops by and brings me different airplane drawings! What a way to brighten my day!
