The class is loving our 3D shapes unit and even had fun building (and eating) their own creations! 🔹🔺

In math we are using different strategies we have learned so far to answer additions and subtraction word problems. The students love using the dry erase markers to practice these skills! ➕➖😊

Our new ELAR curriculum fits perfectly with our #DCEgoesglobal this year as we having been learning about the Ancient Greeks. So today we are tasting some of their most famous foods! 🫒🥖🧀

Today we did an insect 'write the room' where they had to search for insects hidden on the class and wrote the name next to the picture. They did such a great job! Kinder ready 🥰🐛🐞

I’m so proud of my Pre-K kiddos. We’re learning our sight words and starting to read and they’re working so hard. They are going to be Kindergarten ready for sure!

My favourite thing about teaching Pre-K is when I am working with a group of students and I look up and see another group of students working and learning together 🥰

Pre-K is loving our animal theme. This week is zoo animals, we linked in our literacy work by practicing our letters. I showed them a card, they had to say it aloud and then find it and dab it on their own lion! It was roaring fun! 🦁🔤😊

Today we set our little butterflies free in Pre K 🥰🦋🐛

We have butterflies in PreK 🦋 last week we had caterpillars, and we watched them turn into chrysalis and now they have fully evolved! The kids love watching them ☺️🧡

I have to give my Pre-k class a huge shout out today. We did labelling today, and for the first time we were writing full words independently and they did such a great job! 🥰🐧

We’re really enjoying Winter in Pre-K! ❄️⛄️ we made melted snowman inspired by sneezy the snowman book and pretty snowy winter trees with cotton buds ☺️
