With that being said, sometimes it's okay for a break from academics to focus on mental health. We have to spread the love enough to help these students love themselves too! Don't forget, these are humans with emotions, not just students with classes 💗
Today's thought: the kids in our classes are more than a grade. The quiet ones, the defiant ones these are the ones who need us for more than academics. Don't forget the battles they may be facing outside of school.
Some kids are easy to connect with. They’re friendly, and they’re comfortable talking to adults. Those kids probably don’t need you as much as the ones who are a little awkward. It might be harder to connect with them... but don’t give up. There’s a good chance they’re lonely.
