This month in APE I used the book “oh the things you can do that are good for you!” Which promotes physical activity! Here is how I used the book to practice/learn gross motor movements 🙌🏽 #AdaptedPE#DrSeussDay#Thematics
Station 1: “jump on skateboard their skateboards and start to ride” students will chose how they will practice balance
Station 2: “just like a tweet you can play catch” students practiced throwing and catching with a scarf
Station 3 “grab healthy snacks” students sorted “food”
🦀 Crab & Frog 🐸 Throw Box📦
Ss learn about the animals habitat and diet from information on the side, then work on grasp/release or throwing at the targets! #AdaptedPE
Sneak peek 🤩 Project CAPE scholars Elsie & Dana interviewing Dr. Michelle Grenier about UDL for an upcoming episode of What’s New in Adapted Physical Education 👏👏
