Was able to have my Esports Laureles Elementary Team & Liberty Middle School team represented at tonight’s STEAM Showcase brought to you by LFCISD! They did an amazing job advocating for Esports and educating the community on competitive gaming at these lower grade levels! 🎮

Thank you to my cheerleaders for showing up tonight at the Los Fresnos STEAM Night Showcase to greet guests, pass out brochures, and mingle with the community. They did a great job passing out free snacks, free books, and brochure stickers! @LaurelesMustang has the best squad!

Today’s highlight of the Coding Lab was Pair Programming!!

This is when two programmers work together at one workstation. One, the driver, writes code while the other, the observer or navigator, reviews each line of code as it is typed in.

Mixed grade levels in one day makes Robot Week busy, BUT seeing the Coders in my Coding Lab using loops, nested loops, advanced sequencing, variables, and indexing….makes it all worth it! Los Fresnos Codes!!

First School Day back consisted of nested loops, variables, and indexing for the students attending Coding Lab today using @nearpod! Not to mention sharpening those keyboarding skills! Love that hand placement, eyes on the screen, and posture practice! Phew I’m tired 😴 Gn
