Anyone that was alive before the 1990's knows that society was largely homogeneous back then. Not wanting to become a minority in your own homeland isn't racist, it's an existential threat.

@rolandphelan @ArmchairW "Cope" doesn't cut it as a counter argument. Besides, even if Ukraine is exaggerating it's numbers we can see visual confirmation from drone footage that Russian losses are at least 100 dead every day. Russian drone footage doesn't show Ukrainian's loosing 20x that many.

@ArmchairW That is because Russia is on the offensive. When 100 Russians storm a town and 80 die in the process, there aren't any bodies for Ukrainians to return because Russia now holds the land where their soldiers died.

@RichardBSpencer That could immediately trigger a global conflict. Every US commander on a foreign military base and every allied country will have to declare allegiance to either the republic or the dictator. Remaining neutral could be tricky.

@ellymelly It's called bio-Leninism. Previously Marxist thought was through the lens of capitalism but that approach failed so they switched to race, gender, religion, migrants etc. They now gain power by creating and backing as many minority groups as possible.

@ellymelly I've met many Europeans IRL that think this way. If all countries just didn't have a military there would be no more wars so they work to de-militarise their own society thinking that it sets a good moral example that all other countries can follow.
