@HLTCO I thought it was good, but I can understand why it’s a hard watch for serious football fans. The players are a bit cliched and cartoonish, but it’s not really about football - as daft as that sounds - feels more about the change in the national psyche, multiculturalism etc.
@stone_jed I doubt you’ll remember me, Jed, but I did a gig with yourself and Frank Bruno a few years back in Newark. It was a pleasant surprise seeing you with Norm, Stan and Des tonight at the Palace Theatre. Superb job.
@MikeyClarke22@KevWatson10 Penalty taking and used to playing in hot conditions. Not saying I agree, but there’s some logic to that one at least. Henderson and Madueke are the ones are I really can’t understand, considering the alternatives.
Not normally one for superlatives, but I think that’s the best heavyweight fight I’ve watched live, certainly all British. Take a now the both of you. Men of that size aren’t supposed to take punches like that and get up.
@ethanlamb01 1. Gibbs-White - appreciate he’s been way better this half of the season, but the way he’s pulled us up by his bootstraps has been incredible.
2. McAtee - based upon what was expected
3. Sangare - I think it was always there tbf, he’s just been really unlucky

@StanCollymore@gallery_rogues No need for an explanation. Villa is your club. And it’s a very likeable club, I’ve got lots of mates who are fans due to the proximity, there’s the usual rivalry when we play, but it’s good natured stuff. Looking forward to a good couple of games.
BBC Radio Humberside Sport is sad to learn that our former colleague, for many years the voice of Scunthorpe United, Tony Shephardson has passed away
“Shep” will be fondly remembered for his catchphrases during commentaries.
RIP Shep
