@sweetcaralee @tomcolicchio If you disagree with FDR's original purpose, that's fine and can certainly be debated, but most people who make this argument claim that "it was never meant to live on or sustain a family", which is simply not true. Mostly, FDR would be appalled at modern corporate profits.

No kid is going to learn about appositive phrases because they are interesting, and they can't practice until they know what appositive phrases are, how they work, and why we use them. We can incorporate discovery into it, but we still have to teach.

@heymrsbond I'm on a hunt for the perfect pencil. I have several similar ones since I'm a sucker for metal ones, but the eraser always kills it for me, usually because of a tiny eraser cap that gets lost, and a tiny eraser. What's the eraser like in this one?
