🙏 Standing With Our Community and First Responders

My prayers go out to every family, every child, and every neighbor affected by last night’s incident at the St. Catharine FunFest. What should have been a safe, joyful community event was disrupted, and many people are still shaken today.

I want to thank the Bexley Police Department, Columbus Police, and every first responder who acted quickly and professionally to protect our community. Their courage and coordination prevented a bad situation from becoming far worse, and we are grateful for their service.

As a community, we lift up the families, parish staff, volunteers, and local businesses impacted. We pray for healing, peace, and unity in the days ahead. And we stand together in our shared commitment to safe neighborhoods, strong families, and events where our kids can gather without fear.

God bless our first responders, and God bless our community.
