In Biology we learned which cereals yeast like to ferment better by the amount of gas produced. Bags contain yeast and crushed Cheerios, Rice Crispies, Shredded Wheat or Lucky Charms. Yeast definitely likes sugar but not complex carbs! @MetuchenStem

A team of five Metuchen HS students competed in the NJ Envirothon today. They received a plaque for the highest score in the team presentation category. They scored 5th place overall. Despite the wet weather, they had a great time at the event. Congratulations team! @MetuchenStem
