On the way to pick up Junie from school, I reached into my purse to grab my chapstick.

There was something cold, mostly hard, though slightly….flaccid, and a bit slimy in there.

I screamed and recoiled while I was driving.

Got here to the school pickup line and checked to see what it was.

It was the end of a carrot that I was peeling and chopping for the pot roast. 😂😂😂😂

When I chopped the end off, it must have really gotten some distance and hit the other end of the counter where my purse was.

Or the dogs set me up. 😳
