Day 3 of #ThingsTheMakeMeHappy: The beach at night!
I love the cooler weather, smell of the sea, no crowds, and the turtle lights’ red glow.
10/10 would recommend it over the beach during the day.

Today we mark five years since 49 people were killed at Pulse nightclub. It has been 1,826 days since this tragedy, yet nothing has changed. We demand our elected officials pass commonsense gun safety legislation. #Pulse5YearsLater#HonorThemWithAction https://t.co/foV600EyxL
@jakey38 Thank you for this!
I have always seen so much debate about Marsha’s involvement, but knew most people do associate it with them. I’ve never seen Marsha’s own words on it before, until now! Nonetheless an important figure in the community, having founded STAR with Sylvia Rivera.
During this pride month, we must not forget to celebrate those that have come before us.
Today I’m celebrating Marsha P. Johnson, an LGBT liberation activist and self-identified drag queen, who is said to have thrown the first brick during the Stonewall uprising.
