Today at Holy Names we honour and bring awareness to the thousands of Indigenous woman, girls, and two-spirit people who have been subject to disproportionate violence in Canada.
Hanging red dresses helps lost spirits find their way home to their loved ones.
From the shop, to french immersion program, to the history class, to the dance studio our staff and students worked and learned together to honour the men and women who have fallen, who have returned home, and who continue to serve our country. Lest we forget.
Today, @HolyNamesCHS students in my ENG4C class participated in an interactive carousel activity where they visited 10 stations around the room and took a stance on some interesting topics that they’ll soon read about in the play, “A Streetcar Named Desire” 🚋 #ILoveStickyNotes
