@McKelvieTO This has been going on for too long. Remember when this Eglinton Crosstown started in the early 90's? Mike Harris dumped up the tunnel. Councilor Mike Colle can attest to that. This is a conservative plan to stall the Eglinton crosstown. Doug Ford has no plans for the completion
On Nov 8, 1946, Viola Desmond, a woman of Black Nova Scotian descent took a stand against racial segregation in a movie theatre in Canada. Today, we remember her legacy and fight against anti-Black racism which has helped shape our country and inspired many.
November 8th is Viola Desmond Day.
Viola Desmond’s activism helped inspire an end to racial segregation in Canada. Viola Desmond Park in Malvern is a tribute to her important contribution to Canadian history.
