In an "Emergency Remote Teaching" setting, there are a lot of "new opportunities" but this doesn't mean traditional strategies are bad or irrelevant. Focusing on what works best for the learner is always the place to start.
If I was stuck in #QuarantineClassroom, I'd choose classroom #6! I teach 1st - but I think they'd love to listen to "Wonder" read aloud! The story would drive rich, meaningful conversations around kindness, courage, perseverance, and acceptance! Plus, I heart indoor cycling!
