@kelhastings After a six weeks of independent reading, students create a summary, critique, and analysis of three important objects that they make that are significant to their book. They share out to three classmates, speed dating style, with just a minute to sell their book!
@kelhastings I'm about three chapters in. So far, the focus is about gaining perspective and being conscious about whether we're making decisions that are truly best for our students, or if we're leaning back on a structure that was built on and focused on reinforcing white society and power.
