Make Units More Inspiring with Vision Boards https://t.co/MS4Fdzi8s8 via @cultofpedagogy
Check out the blog post that accompanies the podcast! It has examples and instructions on how-to create a vision board. I can't wait to try this idea!
You can use vision boards for unit planning?! Absolutely! They’re a great way to organize all your thoughts and ideas and easily make connections between pieces! The podcast below lays out how to use vision boards in your classrooms. @india0309#ICT361
When a students asks if you’ll attend an extra curricular activity of their’s, you make the effort to go watch! The extra steps you take as a teacher to go that little bit above and beyond make all the difference to those students. #ICT361#teachertwitter
@kkoskie I've definitely noticed how important those connections with students are! It makes a big difference in not only their interest in learning, but also the classroom management part of it too!
A4. I've been hearing a lot of teachers say more and more that it is important to have work-life balance. So many teachers have been starting to not take everything home with them and it has greatly improved the way they teach in the classroom! #Saskedchat#ICT361
A3. The biggest support I need as a preservice teacher would be having the opportunity for collaboration with colleagues to come up with engaging content material! #SaskEdChat#ICT361
@CamilleReneeS I did a placement in Brandon this past spring where we moved to remote teaching in a Grade 1 room and it was not easy by any means! If I never have to do it again it will be too soon, as I'm sure is the case for many other teachers!!
A1. Support for new teachers is incredibly important because there are so many small things that pop up and it can be incredibly overwhelming. Having someone to be able to rely on when you're unsure of something would be a big help! #Saskedchat#ICT361
