@TheMaineWonk@grahamformaine You have to believe the Republicans are saving a few of the juicier rumors for when we get closer to the election in November. Don't want to burn all of your bullets.
@gary_weiss You forgot that he also went to the hardknock school known as Hotchkiss. Amazing that he was able to overcome so many obstacles to get to where he is today. https://t.co/AsEakIxZQp
@PollTracker2024 Getting inspired by a cheating, misogynistic Nazi sympathizer who attended the elite prep school Hotchkiss and has never held a job? Different strokes for different folks, I guess.
@freetheche@michaelkruse@katz_morris@aaronzitner I didn't say they would. I think it's a plus for the GOP, as it neutralizes the "Trump is bad" line of attack completely. Democrats now need to defend open borders, higher taxes and men playing in women's sports yet again. Genius move : )
@AliceFromQueens Platner did not serve four combat tours. He served 2 combat tours, though he himself often misstates how many he has done. Michael Kruse of Politico got the exact time of every deployment.

@mtracey I'm curious now as to whether he really did serve four tours. Everything else about this guy -- his working class roots, jobs, etc. -- has been false.
Platner went to one of the most exclusive prep schools in the US, then joined the military, by his own words, to kill people. Then he got a Nazi tat.
He is nothing like the kids you went to high school with, & you pretend otherwise both to exonerate Platner and to slander them.
@chrisbk80@motivatedjoy Platner advocated for sending $300 billion in taxpayer dollars to Ukraine. How is that helping the "regular folks" who didn't attend Hotchkiss like he did?
@actingliketommy Didn't he attend the elite pre school Hotchkiss, too? What is this guy's appeal? A rich kid who cheats and is a Nazi sympathizer. What am I missing?
@bhaviklathia Wasn't he sexting a dozen women, according to his wife, just last year? Love the fact that the Democrats -- who started the #MeToo and DEI movements -- are now throwing their support behind a cheating, misogynistic white male Nazi sympathizer
@chrisbk80@motivatedjoy This is actually a positive for the GOP as it eliminates the "Trump is bad" narrative. Hard to attack Trump when you're supporting Platner. Dems are now back to defending open borders, Somali daycare center fraud, higher taxes and men playing in women's sports.
