A busy last day! Group 2 spent the afternoon on the Trapeze and Vertical Challenge! There were a few shaky legs as they reached the top platform but everyone gave it a go today! #pgl@MrsGilmourCPS@MsMunroCPS
This afternoon Group 2 faced their fear of heights and tackled the Zipwire AND the Abseil Tower! π§ββοΈ we even had a dance competition on the way down! πΊ@MrsGilmourCPS@MsMunroCPS#pgl
Group 1 & 2 had an absolute blast this morning at the Aqua Park! They bounced, slithered, crawled and swam around the course for hours! With the power of a wetsuit, the water felt as warm as a bathtub! π Miss Munro even gave it a go! #pgl@MrsGilmourCPS@MsMunroCPS
Group 2 have had a fantastic first morning on camp! After a yummy breakfast, we had lots of fun Raft Building! There were a few men overboard as the rafts took to the lake! After we dried off, we hit the obstacle course! πΆ @MrsGilmourCPS@MsMunroCPS

Primary 7A took advantage of the nice weather yesterday afternoon and took their novels outside to read! It was lovely to feel some winter sun.π π @MsMunroCPS
P7 had a great morning at Risk Factory in Edinburgh! They took part in a variety of real life scenarios to learn about different risks, how to stay safe and make sensible decisions. They all listened well and had lots of fun! πππ₯β οΈ @MrsGilmourCPS@MsMunroCPS
Today Primary 2 had an extra special teacher today for their RME lesson. H told us all about his religion and how him and his family celebrate Ramadan and Eid. We learned about fasting, doing charity work and preparing for the big Eid celebration. Happy Eid to all celebrating!
Primary 2 had a fun afternoon in Outdoor Learning yesterday. They had to work out how to cross the playground without touching the ground and only using four planks! It was great to see the problem solving, team working and communication in action!
Primary 2 had lots of fun today at our 1920s themed tea party! We served our homemade bread and butter, cakes and juice. We even had some extra guests who enjoyed the sweet treats!
Primary 2 have had a busy day preparing for their 1920s themed tea party tomorrow! They made homemade butter by shaking up double cream! They also made some old fashioned bread rolls which they had to measure out, mix and knead into the dough!
P2 went back in time today and experienced a school day in 1923! They recited poetry, used chalk and slates to complete arithmetic and literacy and played traditional games. The teachers were very strict and used βthe beltβ (strip of paper) to discipline βnaughtyβ children.
